It hurts to say, but what the hell?! This beat is crap, the stupid ass singing over it (rolls eyes). Lyrics are cool though. I'm mad exited to hear the Madlib joint. All the JMT fam albums out next year, gonna be awesome.

Of course Vinnie's rap is the best part of this song. The beat is very good and comes second, but the electronic voice hook is cheesy.
Clipse sound a bit generic.

William Cooper has a good album called 'Beware of the Pale Horse'. My favourite JMT tracks are referencing that kind of shit, 911 and what have you.

But yo Vinnie, just please stay real and grounded, and don't let them muthafuckas change YOU.. It's up to emcee's like you to change THEM, nahmean.. Take it back to the real on them industry cats.. Fuck a (temporary) dollar, do it for the (eternal) culture. I can even forgive and understand how dumbin down lyrics and findin a "balance" is good sometimes, cuz you gotta bridge the gap somehow to win em over, but u gotta continue to make the majority of ur music that raw, gritty, boom bap shit. So that when they look into groups like JMT, they can get a taste of how Hip Hop should be done. Thats the only way we're gonna get any converts. P.S. the song is dope!

Sorry to say it folks, but – This is the way that real Hip Hop has to come back.. What I mean is, the only way to kill this mainstream bullshit entirely, is to infiltrate it from within.. So doing collabs with high profile groups like this will hopefully put more people on to the underground realness, and then they'll see what they've been missing all along. How the fuck else do you think mainstream society is gonna ever hear real Hip Hop? Clipse is actually alright though, but I'm sure that people who listen to them also listen to other "garbage" artists as well.. These kinda moves could pull consumers away from that shit and eventually make "Real" Hip Hop become in high demand again instead of the mindless watered down bullshit…
